Yankeetown Florida Fishing Report. from Captain Jake Herrin
The big Reds and Gator Trout are plentiful right now. I like using the Live Minnows under small corks, about two feet deep, no weight and let the “Bait” call up the Reds & Trout.

The Fishing Charters that I’ve had for the this month have been bringing in some nice catches of Reds, 25 to 27 inches ( with some over slots being released).

Have also had some limits of Speckled Trout caught with some nice ones over 20 inches. Some nice Spanish Mackerel have been caught and the big surprise is we caught (and released) some nice Snook.
